Purified mouse monoclonal IgG antibody which will react specifically against the AviTag™ peptide sequence when fused to the C-terminus of your desired protein-of-interest. May be used to identify C-terminus AviTag™ fusion proteins on Western blots, in ELISAs or in any other immunological procedure when used in combination with a secondary labeled anti-mouse antibody.
The BirA biotin-protein ligase adds d-biotin covalently to biotin-acceptor peptides/proteins via an ATP intermediate (biotinyl 5'-adenylate) in a highly efficient and targeted manner. This kit includes 300 µg of BirA enzyme for those who require larger scale reactions or more frequent use of the BirA biotinylation reaction in their work.
1.5mL of 500µM d-biotin solution (10 mM Bicine, pH 8.3) for BirA biotin-protein ligase reaction conditions that may require extra biotin. This is the same d-biotin solution as provided in the BirA-500 and Bulk BirA in-vitro biotinylation reaction kits. Suitable for supplimenting in vitro biotin ligase reactions. Solution is shipped at room temperature and should be stored at -20°C upon receipt until use.
Supplied as: 1 vial of d-biotin solution; 1.5mL at 500µM store at -20°C
AVB100 is an E. coli K12 strain with the biotin ligase gene stably integrated into the chromosome.
This plasmid allows you to compare your pAN or pAC AviTagTM fusion gene's protein expression against a confirmed AviTagTM fusion product under the same growth and induction conditions.
