Coelenterazine (native form) is a bioluminescent substrate for enzymes like Gaussia luciferase and others.

Coelenterazine is soluble in methanol or ethanol. Concentrations and uses vary depending on the enzyme being assayed.
For use with Gaussia Luciferase: Stock solutions of 25mM are made in acidified methanol (1µl concentrated HCl /10ml Methanol). Solutions may be stored frozen (-80°C) under dry nitrogen. Protect from light. Solutions being used within a month can be stored at -20°C.
